When You don’t Have Inspiration to Write

Writing is a fun activity when we already have the idea that we want to write. However, writing can become very tedious activity when we do not know what we want to write.
We are holding a pen and paper. Or, we were seated neatly in front of the computer. But, we do not do the write. One minute, two minutes, ten minutes, half an hour, even an hour, our paper or our computer still blank. There isn’t any word or sentence.
This fact much happens to us, usually it happens to beginner writer who still do not have many ideas for writing. I want to share experiences on gather ideas. The thing was taught by my friend when I was still in the college. He called this activity with the name of saving ideas.
My friend says, actually a lot of ideas around us. However, sometimes we don’t want to immortalize it diligently. For example, when we leave the house and going to the office in the morning, we saw traffic jams. And at that moment, we thought to make article about traffic jams later, after returning from work.
Apparently, when we got home from work, because our body was tired, we forget the idea that we had in the morning. Then, the idea just disappear. So, immortalized with diligent the idea that came at the time.

  1. I know exactly how this feels! There are some days when I rack my brains for what to write. Then divine inspiration hits. Perhaps something funny happens to me or whatever... Writing is very tedious when the ideas run out, but a joy when the words flow!! Great post!
